VP FP&A/Systems - Manufacturing

Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry with 15 years of innovation and growth, is entering a transformative phase aimed at upgrading its data, planning, and technological capabilities. They are seeking a Vice President, FP&A and Systems to lead the strategic integration of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) with core enterprise systems, including ERP and CRM platforms.

Position Summary
The Vice President, FP&A and Systems, will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for aligning financial strategy with operational systems across the organization. This role requires a blend of financial leadership, enterprise systems expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to drive data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. The VP will oversee the financial planning function while guiding the optimization and integration of systems such as SAP and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial models to guide business decisions and performance management

  • Analyze financial performance and operational metrics, providing insights to support executive-level decision-making

  • Partner with business and technology leaders to drive the integration and continuous improvement of ERP and CRM systems

  • Serve as the executive sponsor for major financial systems and technology projects, ensuring delivery against business objectives

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across financial and operational platforms

  • Build and lead high-performing teams across FP&A and systems functions, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in FP&A leadership roles with responsibility for enterprise systems strategy and implementation

  • Deep understanding of financial planning, accounting principles, and performance management methodologies

  • Proven track record in managing ERP and CRM platforms in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams

  • Demonstrated success in leading technology-enabled transformation initiatives

  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and systems integration
